![]() ![]() Guess I shall have to get onto a Bryce forum. If I alter a surface in rhino, and re-export the model, will Bryce update or need materials re-applying I wonder. Wont cost me anything as I already own it. Is it better to export my surfaces out to Bryce, (not sure what file type to use but no doubt will find out !) and add effects there ? Is that any good, never got round to using it. It took my interest many years ago and as far as I remembered was still a contender when I acquired it as part of a package on offer, from DAZ (not the washing up powder people !) in studio 4.5, then discovered that bundle didnt have it, so managed I hope to get it from Softonic for free, so my folders and notes tell me. For information on these settings, see 3D Paint Tool settings. Modify any other settings as required and drag on the model to paint. Select a brush to paint, erase, clone, smear or blur. Click Flood Paint, and then click Save Textures in the File Textures section. I dont normally get a need to do this, until a sudden job would have looked good with it, but see it as an interesting area. Set the Paint Operations to Artisan Paint. Tricky photographing a field in ortho view though. That about covers it, I hope some of you are able to shed some light on these problems and queries.Hi, so to put a field type grass over a mesh covering a few acres, best to photo an entire field rather than a small area say 20ft square and tile that, tiles being repetitious would look silly. LumenRT includes a variety of terrains, which can be customized by scultping the land and ‘painting’ with a choice of several material presets. I have played with the settings, including the 'Start after' setting, can anyone enlighten me as to what the "Offset" setting does? I am hoping this might be the answer to my prayers, but I am probably not doing it right.Ĭan anyone enlighten me as to what the function of the hierarchy is? There's another window that pops up when you hover over this one but I wasn't able to snap it. Ideally I would like to be able to make the object either stop or disappear after a certain time. If I set the object on a loop it sometimes appears when I don't want it to and if I don't loop it, it sometimes re-starts at an inconvenient time. I have found it quite difficult to manage animated content in a longer video clip. I presume this is the Connect server, I have entered my Bentley login and password - is that correct? Is this the best way to create a cube? I am presuming it is better for file sharing.? Whenever I export a live cube to upload for streaming it crashes with an error message "Connection with remote server failed". The selected Texture appears with a green bar under. ![]() To select a brush Texture to paint onto the Mesh object: Click one of the Texture slots in the grid. I wondered if it might be worth while updating the lighting settings to Standard or Full? Will this improve the look of the model at all? I should also point out that I have not been able to update the lighting settings successfully - it crashes with an error message each time after about 3-5 hours (I did say it was a large model). I have only found it necessary to update the lighting settings for indoor scenes when you use artificial lights. Generally for outdoor scenes I use real-time lighting quality. Am I missing something about creating images in LumenRT? I am able to do snapshots (photos) and can make them very large in terms of resolution, but they are never as crisp as the ones rendered in AECOSim. I am used to doing rendered images in AECOSim or MicroStation, I don't think the image quality in LumenRT compares, so I created them in AECOSim, but it was a lot of duplication to get the model ready for images. Brushes for shaping terrain and painting texture. The client then requested some still images of the plant. You can use the height map as a displacement map on the target object. ![]() Not without its problems, but it all worked in the end. I exported a (very large) plant model from AECOSim Update 2 to LumenRT and created a fly-through animation. If anyone has any suggestions I would be delighted to hear them. I have been doing a bit of work on LumenRT again lately and come across a few issues I have not been able to solve. ![]()
